My Own Prison

‘Emily’ and ‘Amy’, whose real names have not been used, feel that parents in prison often don't realise how their sentence is impacting their family on the outside. With the help of Fixers, they have created this short film to show what it can be like for a young person whose parent is serving a sentence. They hope it will help others in similar circumstances understand that they are not alone and allow incarcerated parents to see the situation from their children’s perspective.
