Drug abuse can damage a person emotionally and physically, and this affects not just the drug taker but those around them. Ingesting drugs is always risky as you can never be fully sure what is in the substance you’re taking. Even allegedly legal highs pose serious and sometimes fatal health risks.

In whatever shape or form, drugs are addictive and have serious debilitating side effects.

Fixers are addressing the various risks and impacts of taking substances like cocaine, ecstasy, marijuana, MCAT and everything in between to give others the lowdown on these dangerous highs.

Drug usage is consistently higher for young people than for the whole population. Of people aged 16-24, about 40% have taken an illicit drug in their lifetime.
