Campaign: To show how food poverty affects young people

I think many of us take food for granted, but it’s only when you don’t have any that you realise how important it is.

There was a time in my life when this happened to me.

With the bills to pay, things started piling up and it got to a point where I couldn’t afford to eat.

I decided to visit a local food bank, which was a real lifeline for me.

After a few months of going, I saw people who were going through the same struggles that I was.

Therefore, with Fixers I’ve made a film to share my story and show how important it is to tackle food poverty.

Hopefully it will make more people think about those less fortunate and help them out of hardship.
