Campaign: To show cyber-bullies the consequences of their actions

Like most young people, I use popular social media sites on the internet. However, on occasion I have fallen victim to cyber-bullying.

When I receive hurtful comments, I usually take it on the chin or reply with a cheeky remark but there is a line, and when it has been crossed in the past, this victimisation has caused me to lose friends.

Other young people might not be in a fit state of mind to deal with these sorts of situations and I want online bullies to realise that they could seriously hurt someone.

I and a group of others have created a Fixers film shot from the perspective of the cyber-bully or ‘online troll’.

We want the film to show how these hurtful actions can cause pain to both the victim and the bully, who may not be aware of how damaging their behaviour can be.

Here is a list of Fixers helping me with my Fix:

Chenise Payne

Daniel Jones

Jonathan Lewis

Kaitlyn Price

Luana Davies

Nikki Shepperd

Phoebe Scrivens

Rheya Manul

Shannen Mahoney
