Janan Gill

Janan Gill

Name: Janan Gill
Age: 11
Year of the Fix: 2019
Location: Croydon, London
Campaign: To raise awareness of food poverty

When I was younger my mum did not have much money to buy things.

Sometimes there was not enough money to buy food. It made me feel worried, and I did not want my friends to know I was hungry.

At school we have made a film to raise awareness of food insecurity. We want people to know this is a problem in this country and not in Africa.

I would like to thank the following people for helping me with this fix:

Niedjeni Mbang

Isabella Thompson

Paul Bernardino

Thomas Call

Isaac Walker

Joshua Mensah

Alisson Morales

Anika Bryan

Steview Davis

Nazeeha Islam

Caleb Demirel

Nawal Roble

Isabella Rosa

Elaina Nungi
